Today, the resorts offer skiers and snowboarders a unique two-for-one winter sports opportunity in Northeast Ohio. Both resorts are located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area.
Skiers with an exchangeable ticket can drive between the two areas in a matter of minutes. The beginner areas are conveniently located near the lodges, while the top of the North Bowl is one of several black diamond-rated slopes and features a mogul-filled run. Snowboarders have access to all slopes. The Park at Brandywine enables both skiers and snowboarders the thrill of maneuvering jumps and freestyle features, and the Progression Park and Pride Park offer more freestyle fun.
Brandywine also has a unique tubing area called Polar Blast. Chutes have been sculpted into a kind of miniature bobsled run that controls the direction of the tube and keeps the tube in the chute, with some chutes offering bumps and drops. There are up to 15 regular chutes and 3 super lanes at Polar Blast.
Boston Mills and Brandywine have more than 300 instructors teaching a variety of instructional programs ? both downhill and snowboard techniques.
Boston Mills and Brandywine are easily accessible from the Ohio Turnpike, I-77, I-71, Rt. 8, and I-271.
